The St. Charles Chamber has a large variety of events and meetings all year long. Click on the link to view the Standard Meeting Schedule. This schedule is a general one and may be subject to change throughout the year. The Chamber also hosts our own special events for the benefit of our members. These are:
- The Annual Charlemagne Awards dinner is held every winter. This classic event highlights the best in the community with awards for civic and humanitarian efforts and community improvements to business. The final award of the evening is the “Charlemagne Award” given to a resident of St. Charles who has an extended and continuing history of voluntary service to the community.
-
St. Patrick's Parade Celebrate a favorite Irish tradition in historic St. Charles. St. Patrick’s Parade boasts Leprechaun stilt walkers, band and a whole lot of Irish Shenanigans! The parade is produced by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce and the St. Patrick’s Parade Committee in cooperation with the City of St. Charles and the St. Charles Jaycees. The parade route is on Main Street from Sixth St. to Fourth Ave. in downtown St. Charles.
- Our Business-to-Business Expo (click to see photos) is held every spring and is the largest networking business expo in the Fox Valley. It is co-sponsored with 9 other Chambers and has over 170 booths of exhibitors. Event date was Wednesday, 4/30/08. Admission is free with your business card.
-
The Paddlewheel Riverboat Mixer is held during the Month of June and provides a casual evening of networking along the Fox River aboard one of two paddleboats that cruise daily. Members are invited to participate as sponsors, to promote their particular business, or as guests taking an evening cruise on the river, networking and enjoying great food and drink. Our sponsors provide everyone who attends the opportunity to win great prizes. This one of a kind event is always well attended and lots of fun. Sponsorship forms will be available to download approximately six weeks prior to the event. Event date: Wednesday, 6/11/08.
- The Annual Golf Outing is held every August and is the only fundraiser the Chamber holds. The golf outing is an all-day event at a private country club course and offers brunch, golf, dinner a silent and live auction, and surprises at almost every hole. The 33rd annual event will be held at Eaglebrook Country Club on Monday, 8/4/08. Highlights of the day are a shot-gun start, 19th Hole Cocktail Party, Dinner, auction and grand raffle. This event is truly spectacular! Reservations and sponsorship opportunities start in June.
