“St. Patrick’s Parade is held in March and boasts Leprechaun stilt walkers, band and a whole lot of Irish Shenanigans! In 2009 the parade is scheduled for Saturday March 7 at 2:00 pm on Main Street from Sixth St. to Fourth Ave. in downtown St. Charles. The parade is produced by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce's St. Patrick’s Parade Committee in cooperation with the City of St. Charles and the St. Charles Jaycees.”

“Holiday Homecoming and Electric Christmas Parade is held the last weekend in November. It is a weekend of yuletide activities, in-store specials, free horse-drawn sleigh rides, carolers and more. On Saturday evening at 5:30 pm a fully illuminated parade with bands, floats and more takes over our Main Street to start the holiday season. This is truly a parade that can’t be missed!
