Want to be part of a cool
Chamber committee?
We’re looking for individuals to serve on the St. Patrick’s Parade Committee! The committee organizes, coordinates, and promotes the parade. No parade experience is necessary, and you don’t have to Irish either.
Reasons to be part of this committee are endless:
- We have fun!
- We get to talk to people with Irish accents!
- We meet at McNally’s!
- We put smiles on the faces of children of all ages!
For more information about attending the meeting and being part of the wearin’ of the green committee, please contact Darlene O’Riebe at the chamber office, 630-584-8384.
Purpose:
To organize, coordinate, promote, participate and celebrate in the St. Patrick’s Parade.
The committee shall promote civic harmony and a greater appreciation for the contributions
of the Irish-Americans in and around St. Charles.
Goals:
- Develop ideas to promote the St. Charles Chamber and its members before and during the parade.
- Continue to make the parade a benefit of membership.
- Encourage volunteer opportunities for chamber members and the community.
- Provide a community event for children’s organizations, service clubs, civic organizations, schools, & local businesses to demonstrate their pride in the community and the heritage of our country.
- Develop ideas to promote the businesses around the staging areas and parade route.
